SUDS

—the Student Union Drinking Spot—
Ph. (204)727-9794

Your place to relax and socialize on campus. Located in the Mingling Area of the Knowles-Douglas Building, SUDS is owned and operated by the Brandon University Students’ Union and celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2007. Recently renovated and boasting a great menu of affordable lunch items, regular drink specials, and weekly activities and socials, it’s a great place to study and eat during the day and an even better place to party at night!

SUDS hosts regular karaoke, pool, and jazz nights, club socials, and live entertainment. Students and members of the community can also take the stage to perform at Coffee House, SUDS’ popular open-mic night. In addition, SUDS can be booked for special events by clubs and other groups. It’s the perfect place to hold a club social, fundraiser, or concert.

The SUDS Board operates SUDS.  This board is made up of representatives from each of the stakeholders, with students making up the majority of the board.  The 3 members of the BUSU executive, 2 BUSU appointed students, 1 BU faculty representative, 1 BU alumni representative, and 2 Student-At Large members (which are elected each year by the student body) make up the SUDS board.
