Responsibilities:
Ensure the interests related to International students are represented.
Act as the liaison with International Student Groups on campus and act as a spokesperson for issues related to their constituencies.
Assists with various BUSU events, activities, campaigns, and projects.

yes, you can be in your first year. As long as you are enrolled in classes, and will be for the entire election year, you are eligible to be a Director.I am graduating this year, can I still run for a Director position?
No, if you are graduating this year you can’t run for a Director position. You need to be a student enrolled in classes for the entire election year.Is this position paid?
Yes, this position is paid. Directors are considered casual employment positions, working anywhere from 5 to 20 hours a month. Depending on how much work has been performed, Directors earn tuition rebate per semester, on average $1,400 per year.Can anyone sign my nomination form?
No, not just anyone can sign your nomination form. First, they need to be students. Second, they need to be from the same faculty of the position that you are applying for. For example, if you are applying for Arts Director, the students that sign your nomination form need to be enrolled in the Faculty of Arts.Can I run for more than one position?
No, you can only run for one position.What does 1st nomination and 2nd nomination period mean?The first nomination period is the time in which candidates are being nominated for their intended position. The second nomination period is only for those positions that have not received a candidate. For example, if nobody runs for President in the first nomination period, it is still available to do so in the second nomination period.
How do I get a nomination package?
Nomination packages are available in the BUSU office (located on the first floor in the Knowles-Douglas Building) or online at busu.ca. There are two different packages: Executive AND Director, Senate, and Board.Where do I drop off the nomination package when it is complete?Nomination packages can be dropped off in the BUSU office, which is located on the first floor in the Knowles-Douglas Building, at the front desk starting February 10, 2020.
