The Women's Collective
The Brandon University Women’s Collective is a pro-choice student run group. We stand against sexism, racism, and discrimination against culture and sexuality. The Women’s Collective respects all people and exists to serve the needs of all self-identified women on campus regardless of race, religion, personal beliefs, socio-economic background, marital status, gender or sexuality. The goal of the Women’s Collective is to implement campaigns, facilitate discussion surrounding women’s issues, and to maintain a functioning resource centre on the BU campus for the needs of self-identified women enrolled in University. The Collective may address such issues, as, but is not limited to, women’s equality women’s health, equal pay for equal work, women in academia, effects of war on women, all forms of abuse and violence against women, intersectionality, reproductive rights, International Women’s Day, the December 6th Vigil, and Take Back the Night.
We are located on the 2nd floor of the Knowles Douglas Building.
