Rock The Block: Battle Of The Bands

    Rock the Block is an annual concert put on by the Brandon University Students' Union. This year, we are putting on for the second time a Rock The Block: Battle of The Bands. One band will be chosen by a panel of judges for the chance to play the opening set at this years Rock the Block and receive an additional honorarium of $500!

    The application deadline is July 27th, 2011, at which point a panel will review all applicants and pick up to 12 bands to compete at The 40 on August 10th or 17th; the judges will select the two bands to compete for the spot on August 24th.  
     
    This is a great opportunity for bands to get themselves out there. Just fill out the application (just click download below) and bring in/send us a cd showcasing your talent.
